HCHS offers Humane Education programs to the community at no cost. A part-time humane educator is employed to visit area pre-schools, schools, libraries, clubs, scout groups, etc. to present programs for children and adults. Programs cover the topics of responsible pet ownership, safety around animals, wildlife issues, and reducing pet overpopulation.
